Night one of the Generation Next Invitational did not disappoint. There were some thrilling games to start off the tournament that showcased plenty of young talent from all across the region.

Ed Bullock – 2027 – G – Team Haliburton

One of the top scorers on night one of the tournament with a 28-point game. Bullock is an incredibly skilled guard that was scoring it from all three levels. He moves exceptionally well with the ball maneuvering by defenders on his way to the bucket or creating space on the outside to knock down jumpers. Very high skill level for the young guard.

Max Jones – 2027 – G/F – 24Up

There are few players at his age group that can match his size, strength, and versatile skill set. He scored 16 points in a hard-fought win but impressed even more with everything else he can do on the floor. Jones really stood out tonight with his defensive versatility, rebounding, going strong to the basket, and more.

Duke Ross – 2027 – SF – LVL Elite

Ross is a long and versatile wing forward who can impact the game in a variety of ways but also excelled with his scoring with a 24-point game tonight. Even while still shy of high school, he already has a nice blend of size, length, and skills. Whether it was battling down in the paint or making plays out on the perimeter, Ross was getting it done tonight.

Hayden Schroeder – 2027 – F – M14 Hoops

An easy pick for this list with his highly impressive 25-point game in a win tonight. He was taking over inside scoring in traffic but can also make plays off the dribble and hit jumpers. With all his tools, Schroeder was just unstoppable tonight against a very good Team Haliburton group.

Mikey White – 2027 – PG – Team Herro

White is just one of few players from this 2027 Team Herro squad that had a standout performances tonight. Not only did White lead the way for his team scoring 16 points while hitting four threes but also made a huge impact with his active perimeter defensive play and distributing.
