The 2022 NY2LA Swish N’ Dish once again featured a great schedule with many shoe circuit teams and plenty of other notable programs. Here are the players from the 15U division that stood out the most.
Derek Bishop – 2025 – PG – Illinois Wolves
The playmaking point guard had multiple impressive games during the tournament. Bishop is a skilled scorer that can create for himself and was getting it done on all three levels. He moves extremely well with the ball with good handle to be very tough to stick with. The freshman already has a high IQ and shoots it well off the dribble from all over.
Clevon Easton – 2025 – PG – Phenom University
Easton has plenty of skill and elite athleticism. He moves extremely well with the ball to get to the basket and finish there constantly. Easton has such a high skill level with the ball hitting shots off the dribble and creating for his teammates. He is one of the better freshman around.
Davion Hannah – 2025 – G/F – Power 5
While only a freshman, he was one of the more impressive players of the entire tournament. The lengthy 6’5” wing is an incredibly versatile player with a great scoring ability. He has great moves off the dribble attacking and could not be stopped from getting to the basket and finishing as well to hitting several threes and was a force on the offensive glass. A huge piece of the Power 5 team that won the 15U platinum championship.
Bryce Heard – 2025 – G – Mac Irvin Fire
An ultra-talented guard with a great all-around game. Heard has great athleticism and can both knock down jumpers and get to the rim at a high level. He moves extremely well with the ball and is very tough to defend off the dribble. More than just a scorer, he is also a tough and versatile defender and created for his teammates. While only a freshman, Heard already has plenty of tools that translate to the next level.
Xavier Johnson – 2025 – SF – The Family
One of the more skilled and dynamic scorers in the 15U field. Johnson scored in bunches by both attacking the basket as well as knocking down plenty of threes. The freshman has a great stroke spotting up from the perimeter and has very good moves off the dribble attacking. Even with plenty of defensive attention on him, Johnson just could not be stopped.
Davis Kern – 2025 – SF – Martin Brothers
A multi-dimensional player that showed a variety of skills over the course of the tournament. Kern scored it effectively spotting up from three and off the dribble attacking but can also get on the block and post up for a basket at 6’7”. He can match up with nearly anyone defensively and is a real stat stuffer.
Trey McKenney – 2025 – G – Meanstreets
While only a freshman, McKenney already has size in the backcourt at 6’5” and plenty of ability. He is a powerful combo guard that can score it very effectively at all three levels. More than just a scorer, McKenney can do nearly everything on the floor.

A skilled floor general that was one of our standouts from Friday’s action. McKowen is a high IQ point that plays a step ahead of defenses. He has good vision and reads the floor well to create well for his teammates with his great passing ability. More than just a distributor, McKowen can get to the basket, hit shots off the dribble, and is an active defender.

The wing could just not be stopped at times attacking the basket. He can beat defenders with his good moves off the dribble as well to using his physicality and strong build to battle his way to the basket and finish.
