With all the talent from the 2024 class at the Futures Camp, just one article was not enough for the All Camp Selections. Part one included Bennett Basich, Brady Corso, Jack Daugherty, Teysean Eaglestaff, Dupree Fletcher Jr, Davee Flowers, and Cole Hansen. Here is the second group of the 2024 All Camp Selections.
Andrew Kelley – 2024 – McFarland HS – G
As well to the All Camp Honors, Kelley also won the Mr. Intangibles award. Kelley was one of the better scorers of the camp averaging 15.7 points per game. He did the majority of his scoring with his smooth jumper from the mid-range and three but also got to the basket often. Kelley is a high IQ guard with good quickness that plays well with or without the ball as well to playing with good energy to contribute in a variety of ways.
Quinton Lomack – 2024 – LaFollette HS – G
Lomack had a tremendous camp to win the Top Floor General Awards in addition to MVP for the 2024 class. He is a physical 6’3” point guard that excels attacking the basket with his strength and quickness. Lomack scored it extremely well getting to the basket finishing everything but also pulled up well in the mid-range. Easily the most impactful 2024 player at the camp with his playmaking ability and strong play on both ends.
Jordan Lovelace – 2024 – Wisconsin Lutheran HS – PG
The point guard was just unstoppable during the camp from beyond the arc. Not only did he shoot it at over 70% from three on the day but also went an incredible 9-9 from three in one game on his way to scoring 18.3 points per game. He moves very well off the dribble and does a great job creating separation and hitting shots off the dribble. More than just a shooter, Lovelace has nice vision and is a good decision maker with the ball.
Randy McClendon Jr. – 2024 – DeLaSalle HS – SG
A tough and skilled guard that is a great playmaker off the dribble. He is incredibly shifty with his quickness and moves with the ball to get into defense so well. One of the more difficult guards to defend at the camp with his ability to get to the basket quickly as well as hit shots off the dribble from the mid-range and three. A complete guard with so many tools on the offensive end.
Jonathan O’Neill – 2024 – Kaukauna HS – F
Even as a lengthy 6’8” sophomore, O’Neill already possesses a high skill level. He can play down in the paint but also out on the perimeter with his ability to hit outside jumpers and put the ball on the floor. O’Neill is an agile big that plays with good energy to be a tough defender and be big on the boards. The 6’8” forward was awarded the Big Man Award for the 2024 class.
Nick Taylor – 2024 – Glenbrook South HS – SF
The 6’6” wing forward has a versatile skill set to be a very impactful player as well to being one of the better scorers at the event with 17.3 points per game. Taylor was able to score the ball in a number of ways including attacking the basket, spotting up from three, as well as around the paint. He also played well one the defensive end with the ability to match up with multiple positions.
Grayson Young – 2024 – Wisconsin Lutheran HS – G
One of the top two-way guards at the camp. He plays well with the ball in his hands but is also a tough on-ball defender. Young is a good pressure defender that was disrupting opposing offenses often with his quickness, energy, agility. He has good instincts and seemed to always be a step ahead of everyone. Young also scored the ball well getting to the basket in a hurry as well hitting several shots from the outside.
