Part two of this impressive list of standouts from the weekend in Indianapolis. The list includes a few of the top 2023 players in the Midwest as well as the entire nation. 

Milan Momcilovic - 2023 - F - Phenom University 
An incredibly gifted scorer at 6’8” that continues to impress each and every time we see him. A high-level shooter that hits shots at a high percentage off the catch as well as the dribble. He has legitimate guard skills as he can also take defenders off the dribble in addition to showing off a good passing ability. An incredible talent that high major coaches will not want to miss out on.

James Okonkwo - 2023 - PF - All Ohio Red
A lengthy and physical 6’9” power forward. With his great mobility for his size to defend in the paint or out on the perimeter both well. One of the top rebounders at the tournament that attacks the glass hard. Okonkwo has such a high ceiling and easy to see why he already holds some power five offers. The explosive athlete scored the ball well around the basket as he finishes so well over or right through big opposing post players. 

Ty Pence - 2023 - G/F - Mid-Pro Academy
A highly skilled all around 6’5” wing that scored well on all three levels. He attacks the basket strong and has good bounce to finish above the rim. In addition to shooting the ball at a high percentage from beyond the perimeter and in the mid-range. He has a solid frame and moves well. Pence continues to show he is one of the top 2023 players in all of Illinois. 

AK Rael - 2023 - G - Yanders Law
The lanky wing guard had another impressive weekend showing off his dynamic scoring abilities. The versatile scorer has a pure jumper that he can hit off the dribble or catch from three as well as pulling up in the mid-range. The high-level shooter has the ability to beat defenders in so many ways as he also added some buckets going to the basket on drives and cuts. Rael has some size in the backcourt at 6’5” plus some bounce to his game. 

Lawrent Rice - 2023 - PG - All Ohio Red
A lengthy point guard with some size at 6’4”. He has good playmaking ability and moves well with the ball. He excels at attacking the basket with great acceleration to score around the paint as well as create for his teammates. Rice is a skilled passer that has good vision on the move. With his length and quickness, he is a tough on-ball perimeter defender. 

Anthony Sydnor Jr. - 2023 - PG - UTS Elite
The 6’3” guard is a skilled scorer that showed a great ability to create his own shot. He has good handle and moves exceptionally well with the ball to create separation, and knocked down jumpers at a high percentage in the mid-range when he did. The sophomore showed a nice ability to quickly stop and pull-up in addition to hitting tough contested shots. He is skilled off the dribble to get himself good looks in the mid-range but was also able to get all the way to the basket and finish inside.

JJ Taylor - 2023 - G - Mac Irvin Fire
The 6’7” guard is an exceptional talent that continues to show he is one of the top scores of anyone around. Taylor has a tremendous combination of size, skill, and athleticism, that make him nearly unguardable and is a mismatch nightmare at 6’7”. He gets to basket with ease with his long strides and is a big-time finisher there dunking everything with remarkable explosiveness. Taylor showed off great skills with his ball handling ability, high level passing, and finishing ability. 

Jamisen Young - 2023 - PG - World Hoops Elite
A playmaking point guard that shined with his distributing ability. He has good handle and quickness to often be getting into the paint. He reads the defense exceptionally well and always knows where to go with the ball. He was also a step ahead of the defense dishing out the ball to his teammates with his good passing ability.

Prentice Young Jr. - 2023 - PG - Phenom University 
Young has always shown great skills with his ability to attack the basket hard with his strength and score through defenders, pulling up in the mid-range, as well to being able to create for his teammates. This past weekend, the 6’4” point guard also impressed with expanded range on his jumper as he shot the ball at a high percentage spotting up from three.
