With all the talent and four days of basketball, one article of top performers was not nearly enough. Here is the second group of standouts from the 16U Summer Jam with stock boosters coming up next.
Parker Lepla – 2025 – PF – D Rice Elite
There is much to like about the 6’8” forwards game who was a big piece of his teams run to the semifinals. He uses his height, solid build, and foot work effectively around the paint to score as well as also stretch the floor hitting some threes and put the ball on the floor to score in double figures in several of his games including 19- and 16-point games. For his size he moves well and is a good finisher all around the paint.
Xzavion Mitchell – 2025 – SF – Team Herro
It was a tournament of dominance for Mitchell whose game was just on another level leading his team to the title. Game after game he was consistently putting up twenty plus points including 25 points in the championship game victory. The 6’7” wing forward has such a well-rounded game defending multiple positions, making plays off the dribble, being very active inside, and showed an improved jumper consistently knocking down a couple threes a game. He matches his skills playing with great energy and aggressiveness making him a very special player and one of the top prospects in Wisconsin’s strong 2025 class.
Caleb Moore – 2025 – SG – AFO Michigan Mustangs
The wing guard was a highly impactful player on both ends of the floor. An attacking guard who was constantly getting all the way to the basket on drives and cuts on his way to a twenty-point game. Not overly big but has plenty of toughness to play through contact and finish very effectively. An aggressive on ball defender as well forcing plenty of turnovers.
Drew Murphy – 2025 – SF.- Wisconsin Swing
Through the NY2LA Association season, Murphy has been one of the top 2025 scorers and that continued throughout the Summer Jam tournament. Over the course of the tournament, he had games of 27, 24, 22, 19, and 17 points. He is a versatile scorer with a good ability to spot up from three but also uses his strong frame to get into the mid-range and paint to score as well. A skilled scorer that can go out there and get his team a bucket when needed, he picked up an offer from Northern Michigan over the weekend.
Corey Pittman – 2025 – G – Reach Legends
Pittman continues to find his way onto the list with all he does tournament after tournament. While one of the better 2025 perimeter defenders on the association with his energy, length, and quickness, he also scored it very well throughout the tournament. He had multiple games of twenty plus points. He consistently hit his shots from deep but also plays well off the dribble getting into the paint.
Lewshawn Stowers – 2025 – G – MidPro Academy
Stowers has greatly improved his game and was a big piece of MidPro’s run all the way to the championship game. He is a 6’4” guard with good strength in the backcourt and some athleticism. He really excels playing off the dribble with his ability to play through contact getting to the rim but also hit some shots off the dribble. Stowers is a well-rounded guard with plenty of tools for the collegiate level and contribute all over the floor.
Nsikan Usen – 2025 – SF – D Rice Elite
Usen was one of the better two-way wings at the 16U level of Summer Jam. He has all the tools to be a very good defender with his length, quickness, tremendous energy, plus the ability to matchup with multiple positions. On the other end, he scored seventeen points in a semifinal’s matchup getting much of done around the paint battling hard for each basket scoring right through defenders.
Matt Zobrist – 2025 – SG – MidPro Academy
The two guard came up massive on the big stage in the semifinals with twenty-five points to send MidPro into the title game. He is truly a sharpshooter from the outside hitting five three pointers in that one game with a pure jumper. While a great shooter, Zobrist can also handle the ball and get into the paint.
