With 25+ courts of action today here at Spooky Nook, Saturday was a thriller from start to finish. Here is a sample of today’s standouts for Saturday.

Kaydon Custard – 2024 – G – Moss Elite

The guard excelled in both of his teams’ games today. He started it off with 20 points and then turned his games up a notch in a quarterfinal’s platinum bracket game with 33 points. Down the stretch he was nearly unstoppable attacking the basket battling through contact to get the game into overtime.

Ty Fernholz – 2024 – G – Wisconsin Blizzard

Fernholz continues to be one of the top scorers on the NY2LA Association going for 31 points in a quarterfinals overtime victory. One of the top shot makers in the regions 2024 class with a great ability to hit threes in bunches. In the overtime victory, Fernholz hit a whopping seven threes.

Greg Grays – 2026 – PG – D Rice Elite

There are few players who continuously put up big point totals as Grays has been doing all year. Today he was on another level with a 35-point game in addition to a 21 point game. Grays is such a high-level attacking guard that was beating defenders off the dribble in every way today.

Drew Murphy – 2025 – SF – Wisconsin Swing

Game after game Murphy continues to produce with his scoring. Nothing flashy but the rugged wing forward continues to score with games of 27 and 17 points today. A good spot up shooter from the outside that also uses his strength to get to his spots in the mid-range and paint. He is one of those guys who just knows how to go and get a basket when it’s needed.

Gabe Schmidt – 2026 – G – Midwest Basketball Club

An easy pick for the list with a 27-point game Saturday morning. The lengthy 6’2” guard has a pure jumper from the outside hitting six threes at a high percentage. He moves well without the ball hunting his shots and was just not missing in this one when he had a good look at the basket.
