As well to the top performers and stock boosters, there was plenty of other intriguing players at the NY2LA Spring Extravaganza. Here are several additional players from the tournament that had truly great performances over the course of the weekend.

Antwan Burns-Jones – 2023 – G – MTXE Premier

The game of the junior guard has come a long way over the past year. With an improved jumper he has become more of a complete guard. Not only was he shooting the ball well spotting up from three, but he moves well with the ball in his hands and sees the floor. A good passer on the move that can distribute it and finish around the paint. Just one of a few talented guards on this 17U MTXE team.

Orlando James – 2023 – PG – The Work Foundation

James was constantly on the attack getting into the defense to create. He is lightning quick with the ball as well to a great ability to change his speeds. The junior sees the floor very well on the moves as well to having the ability to dish it out all over the floor to rack up the assists. He navigates around defenders so well and was always a step ahead of defenders.

Adam Jenkins – 2023 – PF – Minnesota Comets Elite

An old school, work horse big man with good ability. In his game on Sunday Jenkins could not be stopped around the basket putting up a highly efficient 18 points scoring on most of his paint touches. He runs the floor, has good hands, and can finish in a crowd inside. Jenkins has good strength but is also agile moving well for his size.

Robert Miller III – 2024 – PF – TJ Ford Academy

An incredibly intriguing prospect with all his tools. He stands at 6’9” plus has great length but still moves so well. Miller has a great blend of size and athleticism to defend nearly anyone on the floor. The sophomore was blocking everything around the paint but also able to match up well on the perimeter defensively. Offensively, he scored it effectively around the basket and has a good ability at his size to put the ball on the floor. All his tools are well suited for today’s game.

Fawaz Odunbaku – 2022 – G – Joe Little Athletics

The unsigned senior is a long and athletic 6’4” wing guard that performed well on both ends of the floor throughout the tournament. He is a smart and active senior that scored it very effectively going to the basket. He moves well with the ball and continued to get to the basket and finish. He really works on the defensive end and could match up with multiple positions well with all his abilities.
