Note – not listed in any particular order

TOP PERFORMERS
2020 Moses Moody SF Brad Beal Elite 17U

One of the best shooters of the weekend skilled 6’6 wing that can flat out stroke it from the perimeter.  Showed flashes in all aspect of the game taking guys off the dribble getting to the rim and finishing in traffic.  Should have a great year playing with the highly talented EYBL Brad Beal Elite group.

2019 Khalil Whitney SF Mac Irvin Fire 17U
Jump shot has improved tremendously since last spring and summer, Whitney seemed to gain confidence throughout the tournament taking more perimeter and mid-range shots while not relying on his athleticism to get to the rim.  High motor finishing in traffic and relentless when getting to the rim, hands down one of the best athletes in the gym this past weekend.

2020 Reece Beekman PG Phenom University 16U
A long skilled talent with the ability to deliver on both ends of the floor, Beekman’s best day of action was Saturday where he was completely dominant from start to finish.  Defensively he constantly contested passes and shots and have a large number of steals throughout the day.  Offensively whether it was mid-range floaters, finishes in traffic at the rim, or even an occasional trey ball Beekman delivered that to.  An exceptional second half performance in a win over Meanstreets was really impressive.

2019 Cole Nau SG Ray Allen Select 17U
Another guy that gets it done from the perimeter whether coming off screens or off picks defenders needed to have hands up at all times when Cole has the ball in his hands.  Cole looked as though he was on a mission this past weekend to prove he could play with the Elite players in the country.  Just have a terrific year playing in the association.

2019 DJ Carton PG Quad City Elite 17U
Flat out put on a show Friday night and throughout the weekend, safe to say DJ pulled has definitely improved skill and strength wise on the court.  His ability to get to the rim and finish in traffic was second to none this weekend as well as his ability to run the show and be efficient scoring the basketball from anywhere on the court.

2019 Alonzo Gaffney SF All Ohio Red 17U
Skilled big man that can affect the game from a defensive and offensive standpoint.  With his large 6’8 frame and large wing span Alonzo can change shots at the rim create havoc in the backcourt with his athletic ability to stay in front of guards and cause turnovers.  This is a large part why Gaffney is hearing from the likes of Kansas, Louisville, Syracuse, Georgetown and a host of over schools.

2020 Mike Saunders Jr. PG George Hill G3 Grind 16U
This kid just flats out knows how to play the game lightning quick speed, relentless attackers on the offensive side of the ball and tenacious defender.  Carried his squad right into the Championship game for his G3 program, Saunders never disappoints brings the same intensity every single game.

2020 Jalen Johnson SF Phenom University 16U
The versatility and athleticism of Johnson was on full display this past weekend in Milwaukee, Johnsons ability to get to the basket and finish around the rim was the consistent theme game after game.  Has such a great feel for the game knows, how to play with the guys around him and was definitely on a mission this weekend to prove that he is one of the top guys in the country.

2021 Darius Davis SG All Ohio Red 15U
Was like a man among boys this weekend this kid does it all rebounds, scores, runs the point, plays defense and leaves it all on the court.  Looking forward to seeing his growth over the next few years but right now one guy that had the biggest and most consistent motor game in and game out this weekend.

STAR WATCH
2020 Jalen Suggs PG Grassroots Sizzle 17U

Opened up the weekend with a strong performance against Mac Irvin Fire EYBL 17u and finished strong against eventual runner up Il Wolves UA 17u.  Suggs ability to create off the dribble and find teammates in traffic was on full display this weekend.

2019 Francis Okoro PF Brad Beal Elite 17U
Such a great athlete around the rim defensively and offensively, was the catalyst in helping Brad Beal win the 17u Platinum division.

STOCK BOOSTERS
2021 Chet Holmgren SF Grassroots Sizzle 17U

Playing up two divisions and holding his own the entire weekend is the best way to describe Holmgren, played well opening night and open a lot of eyes this weekend.

2020 Tony Perkins SG EG10 16U
Started the weekend with a strong performance against Phenom University and stayed consistent throughout the weekend taking his team to the final four.  Perkins continue this play throughout the spring live period he could potentially see his stock climb.

2020 Jamari Sibley SG Phenom University 16U
One of my favorites all weekend just relentless getting after it on both ends of the floor, opened up some eyes and definitely showed others he’s ready to bust into the national scene and make a name for himself this spring and summer.  Sibley continues with play this past weekend into the April live period he could be a household name with a lot of college coach’s by July.

2019 Jalen Thomas PF Reach Legends 17U
Continues to improve every time he steps on the court showing his ability to grow and become a big time ball player.  Nice strong body with the ability to snatch rebounds and be a true rim protector his what Jalen is very good at doing.  Look for him to continue that dominating attribute while improving his offensive game every moment he steps on the court.

2019 Teon Nesbitt PG Chicago Demons 17U
Was all business this weekend showcasing his ability to be handle any type of pressure and showing his wide range of talent leading the Chicago Demons deep into bracket play Sunday.  Nesbitt is quiet secret out of Butler High School in the Chicago area that will become known by a lot of outlets if he continues to have solid weekend performances during the spring.

2019 Markese Jacobs Mac Irvin Fire 17U
The Kansas commit was on a mission this weekend to prove that there is more to his game than just highlights and flash.  Jacobs was shot the lights out from behind the Arc Sunday against Reach Legends and Brad Beal Elite, if Jacobs continues that trend throughout the spring he will definitely help create a different conversation about his character and hi basketball skill level come July.

2020 Alex Antetokounmpo Phenom University 16U
A max effort type talent with plus length, Alex played end line to end line this past weekend and he did so while contributing across the board.  He knocked down a handful of perimeter jumpers, finished in transition, scored around the basket, and was active on the glass and contesting shots.  Really enjoyed his overall ability to leave it all on the floor this past weekend.  He’s just getting started and when everything comes together he has a chance to really take a big step forward.

ON THE RISE
2019 Yuri Collins PG Brad Beal Elite 17U - Playing with a separated shoulder all weekend showed his toughness and willingness to compete.  Definite floor general who runs the show and will hold his own this spring/summer on the EYBL circuit.

2019 Tray Jackson SF Meanstreets 17U – A long athletic wing that shows flashes of being a big time player that get things done around the perimeter and at the rim.

2021 Khristian Landers EG10 Basketball Club 15U – I really love his ability to take guys off the dribble and get to the rim, will be one to watch this spring.

2019 Bryant Brown Illinois Wolves 17U – He hit some big time shots this weekend, play with great poise and has really good feel for the game, will definitely have a big spring and summer if continues playing at this level.

2022 Armani Bailey SG Mac Irvin Fire 16U – A good skillset and athleticism already, will be fun to watch as he continues to grow and become and all-around player.

2020 Tyrus Buckner PF Complete Elite Athletics 17U – A rebounding machine, plays well around the basket and has a lot of upside.  Long athletic frame and has the potential to become a sleeper in his class

2021 Shane Millen PG Capital City 15U – He played with a chip on his shoulder, great feel for the game, gets to the rim with ease and has a toughness about him that he wasn’t afraid to match-up with anyone.

2021 Aneas Davenport SF Mac Irvin Fire 15U - good size, showed some mid-range game, plays hard, rebounds well, boasting with lots of potential definitely one to keep an eye on.
